Overview
Viewoo is a viewer for publicly available TikTok content. This page explains what happens to information when you use viewoo.co.
It is short on purpose. There is no account system, no newsletter, and no profile of you to speak of.
What we collect
Look-ups you make. When you search for a username or open a page, our servers see that request. Your IP address is used to keep the service running: it is the key for a short-lived rate limit that stops one connection from using up the tool for everyone, and it is deleted on its own within about two hours. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
Feedback you send. If you use the contact form, we store what you write: the type you picked, your message, and — only if you choose to fill it in — your email address. We keep the most recent 2000 submissions and drop older ones automatically. We do not store your IP address or your browser details alongside your feedback.
What we do not ask for
We never ask for your TikTok password, and there is nothing on this site to sign in to — Viewoo has no accounts.
Look-ups are not tied to you. The content we cache is keyed by the content that was requested, not by who requested it.
Cookies and advertising
Viewoo may show advertising supplied by third-party networks. Those networks may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device to measure and target what they show, and they operate under their own privacy policies rather than this one.
Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before any such cookie is set, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time.
We do not currently set any cookies of our own. If you switch tabs on a profile, we keep a small value in your browser’s session storage — which tab you left it on — so we can put you back there. It never leaves your device, and it is gone when you close the tab.
Third parties
Running the site means sharing data with the companies that provide its infrastructure.
Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which serves every request and keeps standard access logs.
Caching and rate limiting. Upstash stores cached public content and short-lived rate-limit counters. Feedback you submit is stored there too.
TikTok data. To show a profile, story or post, we request the public data for it from a third-party data service. That request contains the username or content ID you asked for, and nothing about you.
Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Cached public content is kept for 15 to 30 minutes. Rate-limit counters expire on their own within about two hours. Server logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider retains them.
Feedback you submit is kept until it falls outside the most recent 2000 submissions.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or another region with data protection laws, you have rights over the personal information we hold about you — including asking for a copy of it, asking us to correct it, or asking us to delete it.
Because Viewoo has no accounts, what we hold is limited to feedback you have sent us (with an email address only if you chose to give one) and short-lived server-side records such as rate-limit counters.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
